Adam Lambert

My new pretty boy obsession: Adam Lambert. 'Tis true that I just wanted his CD so that I could look at his gorgeous face (I mean, really. Even I can't pull off makeup like that), but I actually really love his music. If you don't listen to him, I recommend Fever, Sleepwalker, and Strut. His stage work is ultra-glorious as well.

I'm a little teacup.

I think when God created the world and saw that there wasn't enough cuteness, he decided to create Teacup Pigs. When I win the lottery, the first thing I'm doing is buying one.

Neil & David

Neil Patrick Harris is one of my all-time favorite men, so he needs a post dedicated to him and his lovely boyfriend David Burtka.

Wonderful-land.

I saw the latest trailer for Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland. I basically just got heart palpitations, my hands shook, my chest felt tight, I got a headache, and I had to go run around. I think I almost fangirl-ed myself to death. I need to learn not to watch these things when I'm home alone. I would post a link to the trailer, but I feel like that's copyright infringement or something. I had to quickly download the video to my iPod before Youtube deleted it. In conclusion, I am way too excited for March 5th. Midnight showing, baby. My aunt also bought me an ultra-fabulous Mad Hatter necklace, so I'll be wearing that.

Winter Wonderland

Welcome back, winter once again
And put on your warm, fuzzy sweater
'Cause you'll feel much better when
The snowflakes fall gently to the ground
The temperature drops, and your shivers
Freeze all the rivers around
But I keep you warm.
In honor of the snow today, I've been listening to a lot of Owl City.

Gleeful

I know that the Glee finale was a week ago, but it just begs to be discussed. Especially since today is the first Wednesday I've had to deal with the withdrawal of an ended season. But the finale was so, SO good. The songs were...oh, simply amazing. Don't Rain On My Parade in particular. Rachel far too similar to Idina Menzel for her own good. And I really loved the judges.

10 Reasons Why I Love Glee:

1. The fact that I didn't know anyone's name for the majority of the season. To me, the cast was Main Guy, Big Red, Idina Menzel, Gay Kid, Big Black Girl, Crazy Wife, Preggo, Asian Girl, Other Asian, Ugly Cheerleader, Mohawk, etc. I'm getting better though.
2. Puck has a beautiful soul. And face.
3. Midsummer Night's Dream reference. (A devilish Puck who causes relationship problems for young lovers? Hooray!
4. How The-Cheerleader-Who's-In-Glee-Club-Not-The-Pregnant-One (I honestly can't remember her name) has very few lines, but everything she says is funny.
5. Finn and Quinn. They rhyme!
6. The unique names. (Finn, Quinn, Puck, Santana...)
7. Sue's threats. "I will go to the animal shelter and get you a kitty cat. I will let you fall in love with that kitty cat. And then on some dark, cold night, I will steal away into your home and punch you in the face."
8. Kurt. Just Kurt. He is a beautiful soul.
9. The way the other Asian is just called "Other Asian."
And finally...
10. The awesome selection of music!

Let me also say that my all-time favorite parts of Glee were the parts with Kristen Chenoweth guest-starring.

Unicorn Kid

He's just the cutest thing ever, and his music is really awesome.

Omegle

Whilst on Omegle, I asked a stranger what I should add to my blog. The reply:

"You should add a pony to your blog. Ponies make all blogs better."

So here we go.

Jelly rolls are just really cute. :) I wish I knew how to make them.

AVPM

If by some odd twist of fate someone is reading this blog, I have an assignment. Go on Youtube and watch A Very Potter Musical. I know I say this about everything, but it's kind of the best thing ever. Malfoy is a girl, Dumbledore is gay, Voldemort is hot, Cho Chang is white, Goyle rules, and there is one boss Zefron poster. Sounds good? That's because it is.

Move over, lolcats.

Today's accomplishment: discovering AverageCats. AverageCats is to lolcats the way MLIA is to FML. Totally awesome.

Hurrah, narwhals!

So horrible, yet so strangely cute!

Bent Objects and PostSecret

Two things I'm really into since today's shopping trip: Bent Objects and PostSecret.
I saw the Bent Objects book and just fell in love, because it's just so cute and clever and I love food-related things. So that made my Christmas list.
Now, PostSecret. The book I just bought is a compilation of people anonymously submitting their deepest secrets, in some sort of creative way, on postcards. Needless to say, I read the whole thing in one sitting. Twice, actually. And now I'm on the website.

Paint or Die

I am most definitely in love with this table design by John Nounanesing called "Paint Or Die But Love Me."

Wednesday, December 2, 2009

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

Maybe not quite. But it is cold. Fortunately, all I need to survive it is NCIS. And, of course, hot chocolate.

I am an evil giraffe.

Eddie Izzard. Possibly the single greatest comedian ever.
He's pretty. He has a wonderful accent. He wears makeup. He uses excessive profanity. He makes fun of religion, history, and Hitler.
Really, what's not to like?

"I am an evil giraffe. I will eat all the leaves on this tree. I will eat more leaves than I should. And other giraffes may die. Ah ha ha. I am an evil herbivore."

Roar, I'm a Vampire!

I just saw New Moon last night, and it made me very happy.

The people next to me in theater were probably unhappy with me laughing every time Robert Pattinson spoke, but I must admit that the movie actually had a few good points.

1. Alice and Jasper. Possibly THE cutest relationship. Like, ever.
2. Jasper's hair.
3. Jamie Campbell Bower.
4. Jacob's body. He looked like a bronzed god, especially compared to Edward's misshapen nipples.
5. The future scene with Edward and Bella prancing through the woods. Literally the entire theater just burst out laughing. Easily the best scene ever.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Well. It makes me happy.

Wednesday, November 25, 2009

So I've been really into Mika lately, especially his new CD The Boy Who Knew Too Much.

Try to pretend that you don't fall in love with lyrics like:

Oh Billy Brown had lived an ordinary life

Two kids, a dog, and a precautionary wife

While it was all going according to plan

Then Billy Brown fell in love with another man.

Fields Forever

I love strawberries.

I don't know what it is, but if anything has anything to do with strawberries, it's automatically cute. Strawberry drinks, strawberry cakes, strawberry allergies...

What makes YOU happy?

If you said "pretty men", I'd have to agree with you. I'm most certainly in a Jamie Campell Bower mood right now. Prettiness like that simply shouldn't exist.

Also topping my list of happy are Snuggies. I mocked them shamelessly for ages until I actually got one. Now I think that they are the most wonderful things ever created. Especially if they're leopard-print.
